Why the list is short

Most gift card marketplaces optimise for catalogue size. For craft workshops that is the wrong metric: a card is a recommendation, and recommending a bench nobody has stood at is worthless. We carry six and we own something from all six.

Why cards are workshop-specific

A card that works "anywhere in the network" sounds better and is worse. The maker does not know what they are honouring, settlement gets complicated, and the recipient ends up with a balance instead of a plan. One card, one bench.

Why the recipient chooses

Leather is personal in a way most gifts are not. Hide, colour, thread, pocket layout, left-handed or right — guessing those on someone else's behalf produces a wallet they politely do not carry. A card moves the choice to the person who will live with it.

Where the money sits

Makers are paid when you buy. Funds backing unredeemed cards are held separately from operating money. It costs us float, and it is why we can promise a refund if a partner closes.
